Black Voices: Scranton Stories
On the evening of February 21st, over 50 guests attended the screening of "Black Voices: Scranton Stories" at BSPCAC. The event featured powerful local narratives and voices, making it a fantastic oral history project. The University of Scranton led and partnered with this project as part of the National Endowment for the Humanities grant. As part of the Black History Month series, only the stories of Black Scrantonians were screened at our center, but there is a collection of over 20 stories archived.
